the experience
You're invited to BYOF (Bring-Your-Own-Flowers)!
Join us for a one-of-a-kind Mise en Fleur learning experience to celebrate our San Francisco Flower Market community ahead of the market's historical move from Brannan Street. Register for 1-2 days of floral learning, with demonstrations led by Christina Yan, Max Gill, Conner Nesbit, and Tyson Lee. Attendees will be given time to shop the flower market during class before returning to design their very own masterpiece. Headshots will be taken inside the market by Jenny Rogozyan so attendees will have a momento to remember our SFFM home.

A beautiful spread of botanically-infused pastries by Taarte will be served along with coffee and tea. Vessels and additional hard good materials will be provided by our event partners Floral Supply Syndicate and Accent Decor.

In addition to design demonstrations & an open Q&A, each speaker will also present a showcase table at this event. You'll be sure to leave this workshop with newfound inspiration, budding friendships, and the confidence to take your floral artistry to new heights!

Please note: attendees will be responsible for selecting & purchasing their own flowers at the SF Flower Market during this event

giving back
In case you haven't heard, our beloved flower market is moving from its historic location at 6th & Brannan Streets at the end of this year. SoMA has been home to the San Francisco Flower Market for exactly 100 years and holds a very special place in all of our hearts.

In celebration of our floral community and as an ode to our home, proceeds from this event will support the San Francisco Flower Market's recently established nonprofit entity. This transformation into a 501(c)(3) organization enhances SFFM's ability to sustain and grow their vibrant floral community. With a focus on nurturing the existing network of florists and growers and fostering the next generation, the nonprofit aims to expand educational initiatives. These programs are designed to benefit industry professionals and the general public alike, securing a thriving future for the Northern California floral agricultural industry.
